
The Triple P training course you choose depends upon your setting:
Level 2-3 is best for you if you meet with parents briefly (15-20 minutes per visit).
Level 4 Standard is for you if you have experience providing parent training and can see families for up to 1 hour per visit.
Pracitioners who meet with groups of parents for up to 2 hours at a time should complete Level 4 Group.
Level 5 training is reserved for those practitioners who have successfully completed Level 4 Standard.
Training is available for practitioners and child care professionals in the following counties:
Low Country: Beaufort, Berkeley, Dorchester, Florence, Georgetown
Midlands/Pee Dee: Aiken, Darlington, Kershaw, Lancaster, Orangeburg, Sumter
Upstate: Anderson, Cherokee, Greenwood, Laurens, Oconee, Pickens, York
Each course is comprised of either two or three training days and then an accreditation day, which takes place approximately 6 weeks after the training days. To ensure quality, the maximum enrollment for training is 22 participants and the maximum enrollment for accreditation is 11 participants. Each training day is scheduled from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.

The Triple P
Model of Parenting
and Family SupportThe Triple P model draws on social learning, cognitive behavioral and developmental theory, as well as research into risk and protective factors associated with the development of social and behavioral problems in children. The program's multi-level framework aims to tailor information, advice and professional support to the needs of individual families.

Materials provided for each participant: Participant Training Course Notes, Videotape—Every Parents’ Survival Guide, Practitioner Kit including Practitioner Manual, a parent workbook, and overhead transparencies for use in the group sessions

2 Day Training Module
1 Day Accreditation ModuleMaterials provided for each participant: Participant Training Course Notes, Practitioner Kit including Practitioner Manual and a supplemental parent workbook
